Leonard is the longest tenured employee at Property Commerce. He oversees all maintenance requests and ensures everything is working correctly.

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in Senior Property Management, including both residential and commercial portfolios. At Property Commerce she currently oversees the PCDF portfolio with properties in Texas and Louisiana. She excels at enhancing operations, increasing tenant satisfaction and maximizing property value by maintaining optimal budget management. Her proactive approach ensures properties not only meet regulatory standards but also create welcoming environments for the Tenants and Patrons.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is passionate about delivering exceptional property management services and strengthening Tenant relations. Adept at building strong relationships with her Tenants, Jennifer focuses on communication and collaboration to resolve issues swiftly and effectively. She is committed to professional development by continuously staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and kayaking. She values spending quality time with her family and dogs and cheering on her favorite sports teams.

Kinshuner Venters joined the Accounting Team at Property Commerce in 2016 after 8 years with PM Realty Group. She brings a wealth of knowledge in office, retail, corporate accounting, and financial analysis.

As Controller of Property Commerce, Kinshuner takes immense pride in delivering accurate and timely financial information, ensuring the foundation for informed decisions in the dynamic world of commercial real estate and property management. With over 20 years of accounting expertise and more than 15 years dedicated to this industry, she understands the complexities, challenges, and opportunities it offers. She has been instrumental in implementing various new accounting software programs and creating more efficient accounting processes. “At Property Commerce, we prioritize family values, emphasizing the importance of trust and relationships in our work. Kinshuner earned her BBA in Accounting from Fort Valley State University.

Kinshuner is happily married with two children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling.

Deatra has worked as an accountant in both the public and private sector industries for over 30 years. She initially joined Property Commerce in 2019 on a temporary basis as the Fund Accountant. In 2021 she returned to fill this role on a permanent basis.

In 2023 she transitioned into yet another awarding position as the Property Accountant in the Property Commerce Management section.

Deatra graduated from Columbia College with a BS in Accounting and later earned an MBA with a specialization Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University.

Laura has provided asset management and fund operations services for the Dividend Fund since its inception in 2013. She has twenty years of experience in financial and investment analysis.

Carolyn joined the Property Commerce team in 1990. She is the Executive Assistant to the President. In addition to her executive and administrative responsibilities, she coordinates tenant construction and renovations.

Carolyn is a member of Greater True Faith Church and has served in many capacities for over 40 years. She is passionate about her family, job and many charities. Her hobbies include word puzzles, traveling and the classics.

Clay joined Property Commerce in 1996. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science and later earned his MBA in Finance from Houston Baptist University.

He has been involved in developing over 7.5 million sq ft of retail space. His responsibilities include developing, marketing, and leasing shopping centers in Texas, Mississippi, and Missouri.

Clay is currently a City Council Member in Hedwig Village where he is the liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission that he previously chaired. He is a member of several associations including: Miracle Farm Development Council, Baylor “B” Association, Baylor Bear Foundation, Dean’s Advisory Board – Archie W. Dunham College of Business at HCU. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Chad has over 30 years of experience in retail leasing, brokerage, and development. His primary focus has been leasing our portfolio of Target and Home Depot anchored shopping centers in the Houston metro area and the Rio Grande Valley. Chad represents such companies as PGA Tour Superstore, Taco Cabana and Jack in the Box in the Greater Houston Area.

Chad is a native Houstonian who graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BBA in Finance and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Jay has been Owner and President of Property Commerce since 1989. He has been with the firm since 1986. Prior to that, he earned degrees at The University of Texas and Harvard University.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Children at Heart Foundation. Jay was Mayor of Bunker Hill Village for three terms.

Jay has served in various leadership positions and board capacities at the C Club of Houston, Second Baptist Church, the Memorial Villages Police Department, the Village Fire Department, Texas Baptist Children’s Home, the Texas Business Hall of Fame, Care Net, Miracle Farm, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Stanley graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Tx, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was a Distinguished Military Graduate and was commissioned into the Regular Army. He attended Airborne and Ranger Schools while serving in the U. S. Army. He was President of Gross Builders and Executive Vice President of Monumental Properties before founding Property Commerce in 1976.

He has served as a Deacon in Second Baptist Church and was Chairman of the Building Committee of Second Baptist’s Woodway Worship Center. He was a member of the Board of Visitors at Texas A&M University in Galveston and currently serves as a Trustee of the Joella and Stewart Morris Foundation.
